On February 15th, a new sterilization department and laboratory were opened at the Kremenchuk City Children’s Hospital, within the charity project of Roshen Corporation in the healthcare sector.
The budget for the creation of a new sterilization department and laboratory at the expense of Roshen Corporation amounted to 35 million. The new office meets all modern requirements for clean and sterile premises. From now on, treatment and surgery here will be safer for both children and doctors.
Iryna Ponomarenko, Director of Roshen Social Projects Development:
“Supporting Kremenchuk Children’s Hospital is a consistent step in the social work of the Corporation, since one of Roshen factories is located in Kremenchuk. For several years now, within our charitable activities, we are helping Okhmatdit Hospital and the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. In 2017, Roshen Corporation repaired and equipped the central sterilization office of the Okhmatdit hospital. We are expanding the charitable health care project, this year we are launching a large-scale project to assist the National Cancer Institute, but we also do not stop supporting Okhmatdit.”
The previous sterilization department and the laboratory were in critical condition. Equipment used by doctors was outdated and did not meet either the needs of time or the modern standards of decontamination.
The new sterilization department and the laboratory are fully equipped with modern equipment, furniture and are ready to start work to ensure the full hospital needs.
Due to the fact that the new laboratory has installed new electronic equipment, the results will be more accurate and better. In addition to the unique equipment, the updated laboratory has rationally designed and organized conditions for the staff. Such a high technological standard of equipment and a comfortable level of work of physicians have a positive effect on the final result. After all, new opportunities will allow for high standards to conduct analyses and diagnostics. And this, in turn, will affect the correctness of diagnosis for small patients.
